Technology of applying protective material

At the first stage, a digital layout consisting of images of the contours of the gadget parts is loaded into the plotter's memory. Such electronic patterns, as well as patterns for the car interior, are created by photographing the elements to be pasted, followed by translating their silhouettes into a vector format in Corel Draw or another graphic editor.

The plotter cuts the protection film according to electronic patterns on a natural scale, after which you can start preparing the fragile surfaces of the gadgets for pasting. In particular, the housing and display of the device are free from dust and other contaminants. Next, the surfaces to be pasted are degreased by treating with a swab moistened with an alcohol solvent. This procedure allows you to remove fingerprints, the presence of which can provoke rapid peeling of the film and the formation of air bubbles under it.

Immediately before applying the protective material, the gadget is fixed in a fixed position. If the device has small dimensions and weight (for example, a smartphone), a special frame is made to fix it on the desktop.

If the protection film does not have its own adhesive layer, a soap solution is mixed to stick it on the gadget, which will be used as an adhesive. The resulting adhesive is sprayed on the contact side of the film, after which the protective material is carefully applied to the base.

Next, the film is aligned on the surface of the gadget along the contour of the pasted part, simultaneously pushing out excess soap solution and air bubbles from under the protective material. At the final stage of pasting, the gadget is dried until the adhesive dries completely.
