Modern polyurethane film helps not only to protect the car body from damage, but also to hide existing flaws. For almost every model, you can choose the appropriate pattern of the car, i.e. a set of elements from the film, exactly corresponding to the body parts that will be pasted.

There are two ways of pasting on patterns:

  • No doorways. In this case, the patterns are clearly made according to the size of the body parts. This option is more suitable for pasting those elements of the car that can not be covered with a high-quality film without dismantling and disassembling them (mirrors, bumpers, front fenders). In such situations, the protective coating is glued strictly to the edges of the part.

  • With a doorway. In this case, the film is cut out with a small allowance, which is 5-8 mm. Thus, it is possible to tuck the edges of the material and eliminate the possibility of dust and dirt getting under the film. This method is used when pasting risk areas (bumpers, thresholds, etc.).

It is easier to glue the protective film according to the patterns, you can cope with this task independently, without having experience in performing such work. In this case, it remains only to glue the exact cut pattern on the corresponding body part. There is no waste and no time spent on cutting the material. You can buy patterns for the entire car or for its individual parts.

If a specific car model does not have a ready-made set of patterns or non-standard parts are installed on the car, then you will have to use a piece of material for pasting them, which will then be cut to the desired size. It is difficult to cope with such a task on your own, so it is better to turn to professionals.
