To avoid the cost of updating the coating, you can use special tools and materials, as well as auxiliary devices like patterns for the car body.

Ways to protect the coating of the machine

The easiest way to protect the paintwork from damage is polishing. It involves the use of a special silicone-based paste that fills in all the damage and forms a thin film. The disadvantages of such tools are that they are unable to protect the car from large stones, and the protection is not too reliable – it will have to be updated every 2-3 months.

A more durable product is called "liquid glass". It contains compounds of sodium and silicon, which solidify in the air and form a transparent composite layer. The application process is quite simple – it is important to wash the car well before using the product. Then it should be evenly distributed over the surface with a sponge and left for several days to solidify. The disadvantage of the coating is rapid destruction under the influence of water and washing compounds. But, if you do not go to the car wash at all, liquid glass can last up to a year.

The most reliable way to protect the surface of the machine is pasting with vinyl and PPF. However, it is quite difficult to perform such a procedure on your own. The material is pre-cut on a plotter using patterns for the bumper of a car and other parts, after which it is glued to the washed surface and fixed with a construction hair dryer. The performance properties of the film are excellent – it will protect the coating even in cases when another driver will rub the car with his vehicle. It serves for several years, and if necessary, it is removed without traces.
