First, they spray the body of the vehicle, then the adhesive side of the film. Soap reduces the adhesive ability of the material. Due to this, there is time for positioning the film, that is, after applying the material to the surface of the body, you can move the film, choosing the correct location. This is the main advantage of this method. When the soap solution dries, the adhesive properties of the material are restored and the film is tightly glued to the surface.
